Tyler is learning about days of the week, dates and times. He knows Thursday is Gymtyme day at school, Friday is garbage man day, Saturday is a stay home and play day. He knows his birthday is February 27th and makes sure to tell this to everyone he meets. He knows when we're at the park and I say five more minutes that I will soon say two more minutes and then it will be time to go. Lately we've been talking alot about the sun setting and rising. He is trying to grasp the fact that the sun sets in the evening and rises in the morning. He says "In the nighttime the sun goes down, in the morning the sun goes down." When I corrected today, he then tried saying it right "In the nighttime the sun goes down, in the morning the sun goes blmblml." This is Tyler's newest trick. He uses filler for words that don't come to him. Yesterday he was singing a new song for me. Something about a slippery fish swimming and the getting gulp gulp gulped by a uh uh uh a uh uh blmblumuh. He was shocked I hadn't heard that song before.
