See Tyler Grow

Tyler is into pretending about poop these days. We'll be in the middle of having a normal conversation and Tyler will stop and say "Oh! Wait! I have to get the poo-poo out of my butt." And he pretends to take it out and eat it. Then I get grossed out and he says "Oh yucky look I have poo-poo on my hand." And he pretends to cry. This is so silly. He pretty much does it every night at bath time. He thinks it's funny when I say that's gross, it's funny when I tell him not to do that, everything is so funny to him.

Walking out to the car last night, Tyler noticed big giant piles of this brown tree pollen strewn all over the ground. He stopped and declared "LOOOOOOK there's poop on the ground!" doing his pretend cry again. This was getting the attention of all the other parents picking up their kids. As much as I tried down playing it, explaining it, ignoring it and everything else, Tyler wouldn't let it die. The entire time I was struggling to buckle Gavin in his carseat, Tyler was fake crying, pointing at the ground, saying "Poooooh pooooooh" in his whiney voice. Lord. I forced him to step over it (it really was everywhere) and right then the wind blew the pile of pooh up across his shoe. I cracked up and he screamed. Nice pooh fetish.
