Bye bye shy guy
Tyler seems to be getting over the shyness that previously prevented him from doing such things as asking a new kid at the park what his name was, or telling a food server what he wants to eat. Just recently, he's really come out of his shell. I attribute this development to recent activities without mommy like swimming lessons and karate, and to all the practice and conversations we've had on this topic over the years. At the park yesterday, Carina, Tyler and Gavin were standing together like a trio of trouble watching the bigger kids doing crazy tricks on the spinning pole. Tyler blurted out loudly, "Hey how old are you guys?" and they answered. I was SO proud of Tyler. That was a huge milestone. A few seconds later, one of the eight year olds spun off the pole and fell down, resulting in Tyler pointing and jumping up and down as he laughed loudly. Okay onto the next lesson of when it's okay to point and laugh at people, and when it's not.
