The week of the No's continues. At least I'm hoping it's just a week. He used to be so good about getting ready for school. He enjoyed the routine of getting dressed, brushing his hair, brushing his teeth and washing his face. Ok nobody likes the washing their face part, but he did it because he knew it was the routine. Every day this week, it takes two of us to get him diapered and dressed he's twisting and turning so much. He puts his arms over his hair as we try to brush it, saying no the entire time. He pretends he wants to brush his teeth and asks for the toothbrush, only to chuck it across the bathroom and say "Woah" as it flies away. You can only imagine how fun washing the face is. I thank my lucky stars I am stronger than him. That probably won't be the case in a few more years and he'll be throwing me across the bathroom if I don't get a grip on this attitude. The only thing he doesn't seem to mind these days, which used to send him into a fit, is using the inhaler. I guess we're all evolving a little. I have a feeling he is going to wear us out this weekend. Two birthday parties on Saturday will hopefully wear him out too.
