Every morning we get dressed, Tyler asks to wear shorts. I hold out his shirt and he asks if it's shorts. Short sleeves, I correct, and hold out shorts saying these are shorts. So, the other day Tyler wanted to wear shorts but it was forecasted to be in the 60s so I told him he had to wear pants. Not one who likes to be told what to do, he stated again that he wants to shorts. Then he said, "Oh wait, let me check." I thought he was going to check the weather, but instead he pretended to hold a phone to his ear and had a pretend conversation that went something like this "Gunnar. Are you going to wear shorts today? No? Ok Gunnar." Then he informed me he wanted to wear pants like Gunnar. Whatever it takes.
