Snowed In

We stayed in a Tahoe cabin with RJ this past weekend. It snowed the entire time so we'd go out and have snowball fights, then come inside to warm up and eat a snack. Then go back out for more snowball fights. We did this all day Saturday. It was great, but truthfully, there wasn't anything else to do. It was snowing so much we didn't want to drive anywhere. There was a TV there, but no reception and no volume so the VHS we had rented since they don't have a DVD player didn't even work. We played lots of games and played in the snow a lot. When we got back home Sunday, the kids were left to entertain themselves while the adults watched the Superbowl. They were watching Noggin in the office and playing online at Noggin.com how's that for multi-channel marketing exposure? The double dose of cartoon stimulation must have been needed to make up for the lack of TV during the weekend. I made sure they understood that not having TV didn't kill them. Their eyes lit up, like, yeah you're right, we CAN live without TV if we really had to.
